India’s daily COVID cases hit new record of 75,760

India’s Health and Family Welfare Ministry said the number of COVID-19 infections registered during the day in the country landed at 75,760 on Wednesday, marking a record high for the South Asian nation.

After the new cases are added India’s total infection count reached 3,310,234. In the meantime, the country’s coronavirus death toll increased to 60,472, after 1,023 additional virus-related fatalities were confirmed during the day.

On the other hand, the number of recoveries from the disease reached a total of 2,523,771, rising by 56,013 in the twenty-four hour time.
