Indonesia-At least 26 killed as bus plunges into ravine

An Indonesian bus dived over a cliff and plunged 150 meters into a ravine killing at least 26 people and wounding 13.

The bus was carrying approximately 50 passengers when it crashed on the way to Palembang from Bengkulu on the island of Sumatra in western Indonesia.

Officials were investigating the cause of the crash, highway police officer Riski said to Indonesia’s TV One.

Pictures revealed a group of people attempting to pull the wreckage of the bus from the river.
