Internet outage causes major websites to go down

A large number of major websites across the globe went offline on Thursday in what appears to be an internet outage, including the official websites of Delta Air Lines, British Airways, UPS, AT&T and Costco. More than 30,000 websites were affected by the outage.

“We’re experiencing temporary technical issues serving our customers on delta.com and the Fly Delta mobile app… We apologize for the delay, and are working to restore the site as quickly as possible,” Delta noted on its website.
