Iran: More than 61 million voters called to polls to elect a new president

61 million Iranian voters are called this Friday, June 28, to the polls to elect a new president after the passing of Ebrahim Raïssi in a helicopter crash on May 19.

In total, 4 candidates are distributed as follows; 3 conservatives and one reformer are in the running for this election.

The estimates will be disclosed this Saturday and the official results of the presidential elections are anticipated this Sunday.
