Iran’s daily virus cases hit new record of 37,189

The number of infections from coronavirus recorded daily in Iran reached a new record on Monday, coming in at 37,189. The tally of people that contracted the disease since the start of the pandemic in the country thus increased to 3,940,708.

The figure for fatalities from the effects of COVID-19 also grew in comparison to the previous few days to 411. The death toll linked to the virus now counts 91,407 fatal cases.
