Islamic State says is behind Kandahar attack

Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack that took place at a Shi’ite Muslims Mosque in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

The group issued a statement via its Amaq news agency, claiming that two of the group’s fighters attacked the mosque guards before blowing themselves up.
