The Jordanian detainees Hiba Al-Labadi and Abdulrahman Marei were released today after being detained by the occupation.
“Following directives issued by His Majesty King Abdullah II, the government made efforts for the release of the two detainees and will take all procedures to secure their safe return to the Kingdom,” the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi tweeted.
Today’s agreement reached by the Jordanian and Israeli governments came after long discussions, intensive contacts and moves made by the Foreign Ministry since the moment Al-Labadi and Marei were arrested.
The Foreign Ministry made intensive efforts for Al-Labadi and Marei’s release according to an integrated plan approved by Prime Minister Omar Razzaz.
