Israel strikes Hezbollah HQ in Beirut

The Israeli military Friday carried out an airstrike on the central headquarters of Hezbollah in Beirut, where a massive blast levelled buildings in a southern district, sending clouds of orange and black smoke billowing in the skies.

According to AFP, Initial reports did not confirm any casualties, but a source close to Hezbollah indicated that six buildings were destroyed and that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was unharmed, despite claims he was a target.
