Italy reports 174 deaths, lowest since 1st day of lockdown

Deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy soared by 174 on Sunday, the Civil Protection Agency announced, posting a sharp daily fall of deaths since March 10.

Italy’s total death toll since the outbreak came to light on Feb. 21 now attains at 28,884, the Civil Protection Agency said.
Meanwhile, infections rose to 210,717 after recording  1,389 new infections.
