Italy requests Algeria to augment gas deliveries through Tunisia

Italian foreign minister Luigi Di Maio, met Algerian President Tebboune, as well as his Algerian counterpart Laamamra and Algerian Minister of Energy.
 
Di Maio was accompanied by the executive director of the energy company ENI. He asserted after his discussions that he had come to discuss with the Algerian authorities the possibility of augmenting, as soon as possible, their gas deliveries to Italy, through the gas pipeline crossing Tunisia following the crisis in Ukraine.
