Italy to lift mask mandate on June 28

The Italian government will halt the nationwide mask mandate on June 28, the country’s Minister of Health Roberto Speranza affirmed on Monday.

The minister addressed the media affirming that wearing a mask while outdoors will remain compulsory only in the Valle d’Aosta region, which is the only area of the country currently in the so-called yellow COVID zone.
