Italy to welcome 4,000 Tunisian workers after training them in Tunisia

Italy will offer training to 4,000 young Tunisians in most in-demand jobs on the Italian market and then welcome them as legal migrants within the framework of promoting legal migration, Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani told his Tunisian counterpart Nabil Ammar in a meeting held, Thursday, in Tunis.

“We are finalizing an agreement to bring 4,000 Tunisian workers to work in Italy, who will be trained in Tunisia,” Tajani indicated.

Italy is seeking to bring further economic support to Tunisia, he added.
