Japan Earhquake death toll rises to 161

Japanese authorities declared on Monday that the number of people who lost their lives in the 7.5-magnitude earthquake that hit the Ishikawa Prefecture last week rose to 161.

Additionally, the authorities said that the total of people missing fell to 103 from 195 previously reported.

Meanwhile, the search for survivors continued.
