Japan: Tsunami warning lower, 93 aftershocks after main quake

The Japanese Meteorological Agency has downgraded the earlier tsunami warning to a “tsunami advisory” for several Western, Southern, and Northern areas of the island. While the advisory urges people to remain out of the water and away from the seashore due to continued strong currents, the warning has been lessened. The agency emphasizes that the risk of houses collapsing or landslides still persists. Additionally, it reported 93 earthquakes with a seismic intensity of 1 or higher following the main tremor. People are advised to stay cautious and follow safety guidelines.
