Kasserine: Death of a child due to the explosion of a suspicious object

The regional hospital in Kasserine received the body of the child on Sunday evening after the incident occurred in the mountainous area of Ain al-Mashri in Mazira, part of the Salloum locality in the Hassi al-Farid delegation.

The regional director of health in Kasserine, Abdelghani Chaabani, said on Monday morning that the child’s body would be sent for forensic examination to determine the exact cause of death and the nature of the explosive object.

Civil protection units and security and military forces were dispatched to the scene immediately after being notified of the incident. The child’s body was then transported to the regional hospital in Kasserine.
