Khartoum expels 15 Emirati diplomats

The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the acting ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Khartoum to communicate the decision to designate 15 members of the Emirati diplomatic mission as persona non grata. They have been ordered to leave the country as soon as possible.

The specific reasons for this decision have not been disclosed, but it occurs amid a backdrop of crisis between the two countries. Khartoum has accused the Emiratis of supplying arms to the dissident forces of the “rapid support.”
