resident Kaïs Saïed met with Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani at the Carthage Palace to examine the results of Tunisia’s participation in the recent Korea-Africa summit, held in Seoul. Beyond multilateral discussions, bilateral meetings also took place on the sidelines of this conference.
President Kais Saïed reaffirmed his position on the significance of making Africa an active partner in international relations. He emphasised that the African continent is rich in resources and that its populations aspire to a new future, free from the suffering of the past.
Furthermore, the meeting discussed different draft laws and decrees which will be discussed at the next Council of Ministers.
These discussions seek to strengthen cooperation and promote Tunisia’s economic and social development by drawing on new opportunities created by relations with African and Asian countries.
