Kuwait emir allows crown prince to temporarily exercise some of emir’s constitutional powers

Emir of Kuwait announced a royal command that allows the nation’s crown prince to provisionally exercise some of the Emir’s constitutional powers, according to state-run KUNA news agency.

A statement released by the Emiri Diwan affairs ministry said the royal order announced on Monday gives Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah some constitutional rights of Kuwaiti Emir  Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
