On the orders of the President of the Republic, a flight was organised for Tunisians in Lebanon wishing to return home.
After concerted efforts by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Tunisians Abroad, alongside the Embassy in Beirut and in coordination with different ministries and authorities, with support from the Lebanese authorities, a first group of 102 Tunisian citizens and their families was transported to Amman Airport on the morning of October 3, 2024.
The group was welcomed by the Tunisian ambassador to Jordan, as stated in an official press release by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
