Lebanon, Syria FMs to plan meeting for early next year

Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib and his Syrian counterpart, Asaad Hassan al-Shaybani, held discussions to enhance bilateral cooperation on Thursday. During the call, Habib emphasized Lebanon’s commitment to Syria’s unity, independence, and the Syrian people’s right to self-determination.

The ministers highlighted the importance of fostering strong neighborly relations to benefit both nations. Habib expressed interest in visiting Syria, a gesture welcomed by Al-Shaybani. They agreed to meet early next year to address shared concerns and explore opportunities for collaboration.
