Libya-Haftar army commander declares arrival of troops 20 km from Ras Jedir

Commander of the Western Military Regional Idris Madi announced that his troops have arrived in the area of Aboukamach located 20 km east of Ras Jedir.

He added his units are currently deployed near and nearby the border crossing without attacking for reasons linked to political and diplomatic considerations with Tunisia, without providing further details.

He pointed out added that his army had taken control of several cities in western Libya including Zliten, Regdaline and Jemil, claiming that government forces of the agreement had collapsed throughout the coastal road connecting between Tripoli and Ras Jedir.
