Libya is expelling sub-Saharan migrants back to their countries

The Libyan Minister of the Interior declared yesterday that the ministry has carried out the eviction to their countries of origin, some 250 migrants with Chadian, Somali, Nigerian, and Sudanese nationalities.

He added that his services carried out the expulsion of 162 other immigrants last week, including 137 in Mali, as well as an undetermined number of Bengalis.

Libya has decided to get rid of illegal migrants, and this expulsion campaign started last August and affected hundreds of individuals of all nationalities.
