Ligue 1 Pro – J12: Hammam-Lif dominates Espérance and keeps hope, US Monastir corrected by CA

CS Hammam-Lif is still alive! In front of their home crowd, Hammam-Lifois defeated Esperance 2-1 and came back to within 7 points of ES Métlaoui, also the winner of CA Bizertin, with the same score.

Hammam-Lif took the lead through Zied Ben Salem (2nd). The “blood and gold” worked to equalize thanks to the Moroccan Sabir Bougrine (8′) before Mouhiballah Selmi marked the victory 10 minutes from the ending of the match. 

In group B, the return of winter pushed the Monastirians to slip a little. The leaders of Group B were defeated at the summit of the 12th day against Club Africain in Rades. After 90 minutes, Club Africain was capable to bend the US Monastirienne (2-0) on Wednesday. Goals were scored by Skander Laabidi (15′) and Yassine Chammakhi (63′).
