Magnitude 4.5 earthquake hits western Algeria

The Centre of Astronomy, astrophysics and Geophysics in Algeria recorded today a 4.5-degree earthquake on the Richter scale at 2:33 pm an earthquake in Mascara, An-Nahar reported.

According to the centre, the epicentre was located 12 kilometres northeast of Mohammadiyah in the province of Mascara.
