March 8: 75% of injured and 70% of missing people are women in G-a-z-a

In a statement reviewing the condition of Palestinian women, the Central Bureau of Statistics reported that women comprise 75% of those injured and 70% of those missing since the beginning of the war in Gaza on October 7.

The same source stressed that women constitute 49% of the total population in Palestine, with their number having attained 2.76 million women by mid-2024 (1.63 million women in the West Bank and 1.13 million women in the Gaza Strip).
