MPs attached to parliamentary immunity during interrogation: Abderrazek Kilani

Former President of Lawyers Abderrazek Kilani commented, at a press conference held today, on the legal proceedings against several deputies for their participation in a plenary session on March 30. “Two days before the dissolution of Parliament, the President of the Republic Kais Saied affirmed that this is not feasible in accordance with the texts of the Constitution. What is occurring now is extremely serious,” he said, calling on the public prosecutor to play its role correctly. The speaker also disclosed that the parliamentary representatives have attached themselves to article 68 of the Constitution relating to parliamentary immunity.
