Nabarro: COVID is ‘absolutely unstoppable’

World Health Organization’s (WHO) Special Envoy on COVID-19 David Nabarro  stated on Tuesday that he believes the coronavirus is “absolutely unstoppable.”

Nabarro made the comments ahead of the upcoming WHO budgetary meeting, noting that one of the best ways to protect oneself against the virus is by wearing a “well-fitting, surgical mask.”

Lastly, on the politicization of the virus, Nabarro said that mask-wearing shouldn’t be a political issue, adding that “this virus doesn’t vote” and that everybody should be doing it.
