Speaking to Radio IFM, Tunisian coach of the Kuwait club, Nabil Maaloul confirmed that he will not negotiate with any player who has issues with the management of Esperance Tunis (precisely the two Algerians Ellyes Chetti and Raouf Benguit). He added that the Kuwaiti club administration will confer with his “blood and gold” counterpart in order to ensure the services of other players during this winter transfer window.
Concerning his future and his technical staff which includes 5 Tunisian coaches with a physiotherapist, on the team’s sidelines, he emphasised that they did not hide their wish to extend the contract by affirming: “They have talked to us in order to expand the contract, but we have delayed the issue of negotiating this issue until next January as we await two important talks in the Kuwaiti League. December 26 and 31 ”.
