Naoufel Amira: pharmacists complain about lack of medication

The secretary general of the Tunisian pharmacists’ union of Tunisia (Spot), Naoufel Amira, stated, on October 31, 2022, that pharmacists have complained about the lack of medicines for some time.

He added that certain drugs cannot be substituted and that it is essential to make bold decisions to rescue the sector alerting against the existence of parallel medications of drug distribution.

In his intervention on a private radio station, Amira said that the fact that international laboratories decide to exit Tunisia will create a problem of access to drugs.

He added that laboratories installed in Tunisia needed clear vision and administrative facilitation specifying that the problem does not solely concern debt accumulation.
