The National Council of Regions and Provinces voiced its strong condemnation of the assassination of the head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran, after the Zionist enemy targeted him in a “cowardly” terrorist operation.
In a statement, the Council renewed its condemnation of the “international silence” concerning the crimes of the Zionist entity, viewing that this silence “cannot be an option in the face of the heinous crimes against humanity in general and the Palestinian people in particular.”
It called on all liberals in the world’s parliaments to take a firm stand, confront these crimes and violations against humanity, and support the Palestinian people and their resistance to liberate their entire land.
