Nearly 6,000 mothers killed in G-a-z-a, leaving 19,000 children orphaned

Six months after the start of the war, 10,000 Palestinian women were killed in Gaza, including approximately 6,000 mothers, leaving 19,000 children orphaned, UN Women stated in its latest report.

“Women who survived Israeli bombings and ground operations have been displaced, lost their spouses and are at risk of starvation. This differentiated effect of the conflict on women continues to make the war against Gaza also a war against women,” indicates the same source.
