Netanyahu accuses Iran of ordering Houthis to seize Israeli ship

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Iran of being behind the sequestration, in the Red Sea, of a ship that had set sail from Israel.

A leader of the Houthi group told Al Jazeera that his forces had seized an Israeli ship and taken it to the coast of Yemen, adding: “We took the ship to support our oppressed people in Gaza.”

The occupying army has denied that the ship the Houthis say they are holding near the coast of Yemen is Israeli, and has likewise denied the presence of Israelis on board.
