Official-Tunisia: 16 oil exploration permits are valid since September

According to the monthly report on the energy situation for the month of September 2023, issued by the National Energy and Mines Observatory, the total number of permits valid at the end of September 2023 is 16 including 13 permits for research and 3 prospecting permits.

Remark that the total number of concessions is 56, including 44 in production. The State participates via ETAP in 34 of these production concessions and directly in 3.

We also recollect that a new research permit “Boughrara” was awarded in January 2023 (JORT n° 6 of January 17, 2023). The end of validity of the “Borj el Khadra” research permit, July 11, 2023.
