Olympique de Béja Clinches 19th Edition of Super Cup

Tunisian Super Cup: Olympique Béja wins Etoile  and its 2nd title (videos)

In a thrilling game at Radès, Olympique de Béja secured the win in the 19th edition of the Super Cup by beating Étoile du Sahel with a scoreline of 2-0. The Béjois claimed their second Super Cup title in 29 years, with the last triumph dating back to 1995 when they appeared victorious against CS Sfaxien (1-1, 5-4 tab).

The decisive goals in this edition were achieved by the Malian midfielder, Mohamadou Lamine Ba, in the 44th minute, and Bechir Mkadem, sealing the victory with a goal in the 90+7th minute. This win adds to Olympique de Béja’s rich history in Tunisian football, complementing their recent success as holders of the Tunisian Cup.
