A 13-year-old boy died on Tuesday after being stabbed by a sword-wielding man in northeast London, the Metropolitan Police stated in a statement.
Chief Superintendent Stuart Bell further detailed that although the boy was taken to a hospital right after the stabbing occurred, “he died shortly after.” He added that the investigation is in “very early stages,” as the officers are working to “establish the full facts.”
Bell remarked that the event doesn’t seem to be related to “any act of terrorism.”
