Palestine-Gaza submerged in darkness after lone power plant shuts down

Gaza after submerged into darkness, Gaza today reported after the lone power plant has shut down, less than a week after Israel suspended fuel shipments.
“The power feed may now decline to only four hours [per day],” said Mohammad Thabet, an official at Gaza’s main power distribution company, after fuel ran out at the plant.
On its part, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) warned that If operations at the Gaza Strip’s only power plant remain halted, it would create problems in the health sector.
