Palestine -IFJ: At least 23 journalists killed in Gaza

At least twenty-three Palestinian journalists have been killed, several wounded and others missing during ongoing military operations between Hamas and Israel in the Gaza Strip, the IFJ reports.

The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and the Palestinian Journalists Union (PJS) denounce the killings and continued aggression against journalists. The IFJ calls for an immediate inquiry into their deaths.

In such dangerous conditions, the IFJ reminds reporters on the ground to take precautions, wear professional safety equipment and not travel without their media outlets supplying them with all the professional safety equipment necessary to cover the events.
