Palestine- On the first day of Ramadan, Israel shut down Al-Aqsa ‘s loudspeakers

Israeli occupation authorities shut down the loudspeakers of  Al-Aqsa mosque during Isha and the Tarawih prayers on the first day of the month of Ramadan, to avoid “ disturbing  ceremonies commemorating the “dead in the battles of Israel”
Local sources remarked that the occupation police “broke into the minarets of El Mgharba and El Asbat  and cut the electric wires to the loudspeakers.”

Israeli occupation forces, placed near El Asbat stopped the breaking of the fast in Al-Ghazali Square in the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Witnesses said that Israeli policemen removed the door of the El Asbat minaret, raided the roof of the minaret and started a search and sabotage operation.

A number of worshipers held Tarawih prayers outside the El Asbat Gate, one of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, while taking preventative measures against the spread of the Coronavirus.
