Parliamentary session to grant confidence to Libya ‘s Government of National Unity kicks off

More than 130 Libyan MPs gathered on Monday, March 08, 2021, in Sirte where they began a plenary session to discuss the to vote confidence in the government of national unity in order to start the transition phase for the elections of December 24.

The meeting came after weeks of disputes among MPs over the place and timing of the plenary session to give confidence to the new government made up of 27 ministers, six ministers of state and two deputy prime ministers.
