Passenger plane carrying 62 people crashes outside São Paulo, Brazil

Voepass Airlines confirmed on Friday that a passenger plane carrying 62 passengers crashed on Friday in Vinhedo, Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The ATR-72-500 was identified as flight 2Z-2283, and it was en route from Cascavel to Guarulhos when it plummeted, hitting several houses upon impact. The Sao Paulo State Fire Department confirmed that a plane crashed in Vinhedo and that seven units were sent to the region where the accident happened.
