A strong 7.0-magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Philippines on Tuesday local time, according to data provided by the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The epicenter of the quake was some 13 kilometers east of the municipality of Dolores, which is home to a population of 44,626, according to the 2020 Census. The tremor struck at a depth of about 10.0 kilometers.
