Popularity barometer of the 3 presidents – Wave 18: Despite everything, the popularity of Kaïs Saïed falls

Tunisia Survey, an expert in online surveys and digital studies, has just disclosed the results of its popularity barometer of the 3 presidents. Its goal is to measure the satisfaction of Tunisian Internet users with the performance of the 3 presidents: Kaïs Saïed, Rached Ghannouchi and Najla Bouden Romdane.
Recall that for wave 17 of the barometer, respondents’ satisfaction with each of the three presidents was as follows:
  • For Kaïes Saïed 64% of respondents were satisfied with his performance;
  • For Najla Bouden Romdane 66% of respondents were satisfied with her performance;
  • For Rached Ghannouchi 8% of respondents were satisfied with his performance.

 

This 18th wave of the barometer comes nearly a month after the previous wave. The online survey took place from December 03 to 12, 2021. The sample size after screening is 1,594 respondents.

Rached Ghannouchi unpopular during 18 waves 
The house speaker of the frozen assembly of people’s is the unlimited record holder for unpopularity. During 18 consecutive waves and since March 2020, the popularity of Rached Ghannouchi could not do anything to raise the spawning. 
His unpopularity is overwhelming. Its popularity is held, not surprisingly despite a meager gain of 01 points compared to wave 17. For this 18th wave, 91% of respondents are dissatisfied with its performance.
Kaïes Saïed remains popular despite falling chances
The popularity of the President of the Republic has been falling continuously since wave 15. On 04 successive waves, he collects a loss of 32 points. Indeed, during this wave, Kaïs Saïed loses 09 popularity points compared to the 17th wave. It goes from 87% satisfied during wave 15 to 55% satisfied during wave 18.
The popularity of Najla Bouden Romdane aligned with that of Kaïs Saïd, towards the decline
The popularity rating of Najla Bouden Romdane is likewise undergoing a deterioration identical to that of Kaïs Saïed. The Prime Minister loses 09 popularity points as opposed to wave 17. 57% of respondents are satisfied with her performance compared to 66% during wave 17.
Lack of trust, lack of a program and lack of experience remain the primary reasons for dissatisfaction:
  • For Rached Ghannouchi: 83% of dissatisfied people are dissatisfied because they do not trust him.

  • For Kaïs Saïed: 73% of dissatisfied people are so because he has no program (he navigates blindly).
  • For Najla Bouden Romdane: 65% of respondents are dissatisfied because she has no political experience.
