‘Prepared for further actions against Houthis if needed,’ says Biden

US President Joe Biden confirmed successful joint strikes with British forces against Houthi targets in Yemen, aiming to safeguard Red Sea navigation.

The strikes, supported by Australia, Bahrain, Canada, and the Netherlands, targeted Iran-backed Houthis. Biden emphasized readiness for further action if needed.

In response, the Houthis reported strikes on Sanaa, Hodeidah, and Saada by US and British forces.

The US official noted the use of planes, ships, and submarines in the strikes against the Houthis.
