Qatar scraps COVID-19 tests on arrival ahead of World Cup

Qatar Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that incoming visitors to the country will no longer be required to present a negative coronavirus test upon arrival ahead of FIFA World Cup, scheduled to take place in Qatar in November.

The Ministry of Health outlined that the new rules against the global pandemic will take effect from November 1, noting it will be mandatory for individuals to present the “health status through the Ehteraz application before entering healthcare facilities in the country.”
