Qatari PM says Gaza war witnessing ‘shift’

Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani said on Wednesday that the war in the Gaza Strip has witnessed a “shift” in recent weeks, with “clear” and “firm” calls to end the conflict.

“In this regard, we have received the Security Council’s resolution, which was presented by the United States of America for an immediate ceasefire and the exchange of hostages and go back to political negotiation to find a sustainable solution,” Al-Thani underlined during the joint press conference with United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Doha.

The Qatari prime minister reaffirmed Doha’s commitment to facilitating dialogue between the warring parties and providing humanitarian aid to the Palestinian enclave.
