Radio France: comedian fired because of his comments about Netanyahu

Comedian Guillaume Meurice revealed today that he was dismissed for “grave misconduct” by Radio France. Suspended since the start of May 2024, Guillaume Meurice was notified and summoned to a disciplinary committee because of the repetition on air at the end of April of his remarks about Benyamin Netanyahu, compared to “a kind of Nazi, but without a foreskin”. Guillaume Meurice responded to this decision on his X account

“He had also been the target of complaints for “incitement to violence and anti-Semitic hatred” and “public insults of an anti-Semitic nature”, which were dismissed by the Nanterre public prosecutor’s office on April 22,” writes the newspaper Libération.
