Riadh Chaoued: “In Tunisia, unemployment is a structural problem”

A dialogue session was held on Friday at the National Council of Regions and Districts in the presence of Riadh Chaoued, Minister of Employment and Vocational Training. The session was dedicated to the role of community companies and vocational training in boosting employment and growth.

During this session, the Minister presented the Ministry’s guidelines as well as the national strategic priorities for the establishment of a new development model focused in particular on reinforcing the social role of the State and sustainable and inclusive social growth.

“Unemployment is a structural problem. To address it, public policies based on improving employability are needed to increase the integration rate of job seekers in different fields and meet the skills needs of companies through the development of vocational training,” underlined Riadh Chaoued,
