Rockets fired at US Embassy in Baghdad

The United States Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, was targeted in a rocket attack on Friday. According to a spokesperson, there were no casualties. While no group has claimed responsibility, the attacker is believed to be an “Iran-aligned militia.” Reports indicate that 14 Katyusha rockets were fired, with some landing near one of the embassy’s gates and others in the nearby river. A separate multi-rocket attack targeted US and Coalition forces in the vicinity of the embassy complex, resulting in no infrastructure damage or casualties, according to a US official.
