A nightclub roof collapsed in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic, killing at least 13 people and injuring more than 70, according to local authorities.
The director of the Center of Emergency Operations, Juan Manuel Mendez, told the press that specialized forces are still searching for survivors in the rubble.
“We presume that many of them are still alive, and that is why the authorities here will not give up until not a single person remains under that rubble,” he stated.
