Ruling in Israel genocide case to be issued on Friday

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) announced on Wednesday that it will issue a ruling on South Africa’s request for provisional measures against Israel over the war in the Gaza Strip on Friday.

“Public hearings on South Africa’s request were held on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 January 2024,” the court said in an official statement.
